Sample itinerary
Day 1: Arrival day - opening circle
- 18:00 - 19:30 Meet and greet
- 19:30 Dinner included
Your meeting, dinner, and first gathering will be at the MVT restaurant. Please make your travel arrangements accordingly. If you arrive early, you'll have time to explore Vrindavan, buy a SIM card, and do some shopping. Lunch will not be provided, but you can buy it at the MVT restaurant if you'd like.
Day 2: Widow seva and Katyayani
- Morning meditation, yoga asana, or sacred activity followed by breakfast at the hotel.
- You will spend your afternoon feeding and serving hundreds of widows. Widows are considered outcasts in India and are oftentimes abandoned, left to beg on the streets.
- Lunch at the hotel followed by a short break.
- Sacred dancing, Odissi dance in the yoga hall at the hotel.
- Visit Katyayani temple and unveil her secrets through sacred offerings.
Day 3: Shiva
- I awoke early this morning and meditated in the temple. I could hear the beautiful singing and prayers of the women as they filled the air.
- Visit a Shiva temple to participate in the morning ritual offerings.
- Return to the hotel for a late breakfast followed by free time.
- Lunch at the hotel.
- Crafting and journaling: flower mandala making.
- There is an evening boat ride on the Jamuna river that includes singing. The Jamuna river is considered the river goddess of Vrindavan.
- Yoga asana class.
- Dinner on your own.
Day 4: Tulsi - Holy Basil
- Morning meditation, yoga asana, or sacred activity followed by breakfast at the hotel.
- Visit the peaceful village of goddess Tulsi Devi, located on the outskirts of Vrindavan. While there, you will sing, make your own malas, dance, journal, and offer sacred ritual practices to the Holy Basil plant of goddess Tulsi.
- Lunch at Vrinda Kunda.
- Return to Vrindavan for free time.
- Dinner on your own.
Day 5: Katyayani and Kali
- Morning meditation, yoga asana, or sacred activity followed by breakfast at the hotel.
- Visit Katyayani temple for journaling, dancing, and meditation practices.
- Lunch at Hotel
- Visit a Kali temple.
- Shopping in Loi Bazaar.
- Dinner on your own.
Day 6: Meerabhai and Cow Seva
- Morning meditation, yoga asana, or sacred activity followed by breakfast at the hotel.
- Visit the peaceful goddess Meerabhai temple for journaling, dancing, and meditation practices.
- Hotel for lunch, followed by free time.
- In India, cows are considered sacred, so you'll visit a peaceful village where they live and do Seva (service) for them. This includes feeding and grooming them.
- Dinner on your own.
Day 7: Radha
- Morning meditation, yoga asana, or sacred activity followed by breakfast at the hotel.
- You should drive to Varshana to visit the goddess Radha, who is the queen of Vrindavan. While you're there, you should do some journaling, dancing, and singing.
- Hotel for lunch
- Crafting: flower garland making.
- Visit Radhe Shyam temple for the evening kirtan ceremony.
Day 8: Departure day - closing circle
- Morning meditation, yoga asana, or sacred activity followed by breakfast at the hotel.
- Closing circle and departure.
- Lunch on your own.
Excursions
Katyayani Temple
During the month of Katyayani, you will spend time in her temple doing offerings and dancing. Katyayani is another form of goddess Durga.
Shiva (Gopeshwar) Temple
The Shiva temple has a special morning ritual that it offers. If you participate in these morning rituals, all your dreams in relation to love will manifest.
The Jamuna Boat Ride is a peaceful experience where you can sing, do kirtan, and share in sacred circle together. You will take a boat from Keshi Ghat, a beautiful location for photos and remembering what ancient India was like.
Vrinda Kunda
Kunda is a small pond and goddess Vrinda is the same as Tulasi, the Holy Basil Plant. Vrinda Kund is located in the peaceful countryside of Vrindavan. There you will be in nature in the real forests and green fields of Vrindavan. The goddess Vrinda is said to reside in the Kund, and the Kund is considered to be a holy place.
Meerabhai Temple
This temple is one of Vrindavan's best kept secrets. Its blue color and tranquil atmosphere are unforgettable.
Cow Seva
The cow village is located close to the Vrindavan streets. You can see many baby cows and you can feed them. It is a lovely village that has a green garden for dancing.
Varshana is the center of Vrindavan and home to the divine feminine. It's a temple located at the top of a hill that overlooks the colorful rooftops of many villages. The temple is booming with colors, songs, and dances for queen Radha.
