Moment-Based Gameplay: Drive by Drive
Instead of playing full matches,CFB26 introduces "moments",which are scenario-based sequences that simulate the biggest plays of a game. Before each game, choose four moments that align with your strengths.
Each moment includes:
Two drive goals with specific outcomes (e.g.,"Rush for 10+ yards," "Avoid fumble")
A Tape Score Boost multiplier tied to each school's interest in that skillset
For instance,a quarterback selecting "Option Merchant" may earn 200 points for a 10-yard run, with Oregon giving a 3x multiplier due to their option-heavy offense, while USC might only offer a 1.3x boost.
Maintaining Your Star Rating
Players begin with a five-star recruit status, but must maintain performance to keep it. Failing to drive goals repeatedly could drop your rating and cost you scholarship offers. Fortunately, there's a retry option immediately after a failed moment—perfect for those make-or-break plays.

Life Decisions: Attend homecoming? Study with a classmate? These seemingly minor choices can impact your image and offer opportunities or distractions.
School Progression: A powerhouse team's losing streak might open up starting roles, while a winning team may be harder to crack as a freshman.
At the season's end, players must narrow their choices to three schools. In a dramatic final reveal, you'll choose your commitment by selecting one of three school hats—complete with the option to cheap WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Gold "fake out" before making your real choice.
