Starting the Quest

To begin the Temple of the Eye quest, head to The Temple of Ikov, which is located to the north-east of Taverley. If you're unfamiliar with the location, the Temple of Ikov is accessible by traveling west of the Shilo Village, near the Shilo River. The entrance to the temple is just outside a large temple building.

Once you're at the entrance, look for Faldor, a mysterious NPC standing near the temple grounds. Speak to Faldor, and he will offer you a series of instructions that will introduce you to the quest and outline your role in uncovering the secrets of the Temple of the Eye.

The Main Quest Walkthrough

Step 1: Entering the Temple

To begin your journey into the temple itself, you'll need to pass through a series of gates. The items can be located around the temple, and you'll need to make use of your Thieving and Agility skills to work through obstacles.

Once the gates are unlocked, proceed into the temple where you'll encounter the first challenge.

Step 2: The Trial of the Eye

In this step, you'll be required to complete a mini-game style challenge. The trial is designed to test your observation skills and the ability to solve puzzles under pressure. You'll need to follow the clues and Hunter tasks to locate hidden items within the temple. There are several puzzles to solve, which often involve identifying items and placing them in specific locations based on hints scattered throughout the temple.

The trial culminates in a showdown with a series of enemies guarding the temple's most ancient relic. Use your combat abilities, food, and prayers to overcome these obstacles.

Step 3: The Mysterious Relic

Once you've passed the trial, you'll uncover a mysterious relic inside the temple, which has significant ties to the ancient shamanic culture and powerful forces of Gielinor. This relic will become a central point in the quest's storyline, and your task is to return it to Faldor for further investigation. But, things take a twist as enemies, including other players or cultists, attempt to stop you from leaving with the relic.

Step 4: Defending the Relic

When you attempt to leave the temple, you'll be ambushed by several waves of enemies who want to seize the mysterious relic for themselves. To make things more challenging, you'll be battling on multiple fronts: you will need to fight, defend, and escape under pressure. This will require a combination of both combat prowess and strategic thinking to handle the variety of waves, which may vary in difficulty depending on your combat level.

Make sure to bring your best food, potions, and prayer items for these encounters. It's advised to stock up on prayer potions and anti-poison potions to counteract any harmful effects.

Step 5: The Final Encounter with the Cult

After successfully defending the relic, the final stage of the quest introduces you to the Shamanic Cult, which has been trying to gain control of the cheap RS gold relic throughout the quest. The cult is led by Abyssal, a powerful enemy NPC who possesses some of the most dangerous combat abilities in the game.
